{"id":333,"date":"2017-05-04T11:53:06","date_gmt":"2017-05-04T11:53:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ptek.ai\/?p=333"},"modified":"2017-12-25T14:27:42","modified_gmt":"2017-12-25T14:27:42","slug":"interoperability-in-a-world-of-tangle-and-block-based-chains","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ptek.ai\/ar\/2017\/05\/04\/interoperability-in-a-world-of-tangle-and-block-based-chains\/","title":{"rendered":"Interoperability in a World of Tangle and Block-Based Chains"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following the fairly resent ban of the cryptocurrency transactions by the <strong>People\u2019s Bank of China<\/strong>, three largest and most influential exchanges in the country \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.btcc.com\/\">BTCC<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.huobi.pro\/\">Huobi<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.okcoin.com\/\">OKCoin<\/a> &#8211; have moved overseas, to Hong Kong.<\/p>\n<p>Since the September crackdown on cryptocurrency trading, these platforms seem to be doing just fine, servicing the Asian markets and expanding their reach. Most of the serious investors have moved with the exchanges in order to circumvent the set of restrictions imposed by the Chinese government.<\/p>\n<p>A few of the exchanges intend to launch peer-to-peer bitcoin trading and introduce trading bitcoin with fiat currencies. Over the counter trading or moving off-shore seems to be the way of the future, at least while the ban persists.
